Confession: I am old enough to remember when they called it Decoration Day! and placed flowers on graves, especially of veterans or those killed in service.

Hope all is well with you and yours and that your holiday is enjoyable – and relaxing. No cooking or cleaning up.

Saw Terry last Saturday at the Farmer’s Market – looks fairly well, but Pete looked awful. Walking with a cane and with that gray pallor that men get when they need a coronary bypass or somesuch.

Court house closed as of a couple of weeks ago – have not been to the temporary digs to see what precisely is there.

    Stay well.

    Martha

Thanks Martha! I will be coming to Halifax this summer. I would like to stop by the temporary Court House. We are doing fine. My manuscript is due by the end of he month and I am going crazy. Thanks for the insight to Memorial Day celebration.
